Hello, my name is Chelsea and welcome to my blog about my fit life.  I started this blog as an avenue to sort out my weight loss journey into the makings of a book.   My successes, my struggles, my day to day food and workout choices will be shared here.  I have an instagram account ( @chelseasfitlife ) where I am often asked questions about nutrition, running, and other fitness related topics so I hope to use this blog answer those questions and as a tool to post info and my opinions and reviews in a more open format.

          I am a mother of 3 amazing children (2 boys and 1 girl, all elementary school aged)  and I work full time as a first grade teacher.  When my daughter was 1 year old, I hit my highest weight ever.  Somewhere in the 240’s and that was about 10lbs more than when I was full term with my last baby.  I decided at that point that I must make a change so I could be the best mother possible to these creatures and model a healthy life and healthy habits for them.  I began my quest for a healthier life and slowly but surely I have made my way to where I am today.  I’ve lost a bit more than 90lbs and I am the fittest I’ve ever been in my life.
